Hospital Partners

Shriners Hospital For Children Philadelphia, PA

Sawyer’s Wish is proud to partner with Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia, one of the world’s leading pediatric care centers. Recently, our team had the opportunity to visit the hospital, meet with Ann, a member of the child life specialist team, drop off fun and colorful sheets, and discuss ways we can help bring a bigger impact to the awareness of the needs of the children in the hospital.

Our visit began meeting with Ann, a child life specialist at Shriners. Ann was kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work she does, and we were honored to have the opportunity to speak with her. We discussed the various ways in which Sawyer’s Wish could support the hospital, from providing additional resources and supplies to helping raise awareness of the hospital’s needs among the broader community.

One of the main ways that Sawyer’s Wish has been able to support Shriners is by providing fun and colorful sheets for their patients. The sheets, which are made of soft, high-quality material, feature a range of vibrant designs that help brighten up the hospital rooms and lift the spirits of the children staying there. During our visit, we were able to drop off several of these sheets, which were greeted with smiles and appreciation by the staff.

As we chatted with Ann, we also discussed ways in which we could help raise awareness of the needs of the hospital and the children it serves. One idea we explored was a donation drive to collect additional supplies and resources for the hospital. We also talked about ways to increase awareness of the hospital and its mission.

Our visit finished with a tour of the hospital, where we were able to witness firsthand the incredible care and dedication that the staff put into their work. As we walked through the halls, we saw children of all ages and backgrounds being treated for various conditions, from orthopedic issues to burns and spinal cord injuries. Despite the challenges they faced, each child we encountered had a bright smile and a positive attitude, a testament to the incredible support they received from the hospital staff and their families.

Overall, our visit to Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia was an incredibly positive experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing organization. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the hospital, providing fun and colorful sheets for their patients, and exploring new ways to support the children and families in their care.

At Sawyer’s Wish, we believe that every child deserves access to high-quality care and support, and we are committed to doing our part to make that a reality. By partnering with organizations like Shriners, we can help ensure that children have access to the resources and support they need to thrive, no matter what challenges they may face. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of children and families across the country.
